Harmony Foundation is a human rights, advocacy and development organization working with the marginalized communities in the districts of Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh and desert area Hasil Pur of the province of Punjab in Pakistan. It was established in the year 2001 with the purpose of introducing and exploring alternative development approaches for under-developed communities.

HF transfers Information, equips with Skills and creates Opportunities for the target group enabling the building of their own solutions to development challenges.
HF involves communities at the grass roots level by encouraging the integrated approach with environmental, social, political and economic considerations in the strategic interventions of development of the community. This initiative has now spread to the three districts with interventions for strategic development of the communities in the rural and urban areas. Harmony Foundation is also working in earthquake areas for relief and rehabilitation of the affected people.Harmony Foundation has taken following initiatives for the empowerment of the local communities:

1. Women workers’ empowerment program which includes the lobbying and advocacy of the issues
2. Established Help Line for the women workers for their social and legal support
3. Adoption of the Code of Conduct on sexual harassment at work place in Faisalabad
4. Networking with unions and association of different industries for the struggle of the workers’ rights
5. Sewer men (sanitary workers) rights campaign for the use of occupational safety tools while they work in the main lines
6. HF is working for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the communities in earth quake affected areas in NWFP through education, hygiene and shelter programs
7. Established two Inclusive education centers in the rural areas to promote the methods of inclusive education
8. Social Harmony and Peacebuilding program is continued with the girl students of ten high schools and through the media
9. Harmony Foundation has produced research reports on Issues and Condition of Women workers in Textile Industry, Faisalabad, Child Labor in Cotton Industry, Causes and Affects of Gastroentritis in Faisalabad, Guidelines for the Inclusive Education Teachers and is documenting the cultural tools of conflict resolution and management
10. HF has started its web radio “New Global Harmony Radio” which is in the process of test transmission
11. HF is the founding member of the Punjab Network for Primary Education in Mother Language
12. HF has organized the women workers in textile industry in Faisalabad
13. HF has the coverage of more than fourteen districts in Pakistan through its volunteers and networking
